The first historical documents about Pratale date back to the 10th Century, and records show Pratale became part of the Badia a Passignano Estate in 1054. Since 1965, Pratale has been in the hands of the Coli Family. The Farm is beautifully situated in the rolling hills of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, covering an area of 80 ha., part of which dedicated to grapes for the Chianti Classico Gallo Nero.

In the beautiful Tuscan countryside, traditional estates with Italian cypresses dot the landscape in between the vineyards and deep forests. The rural houses of the Pratale Farm have become a fundamental part of this natural landscape.
